2025 Reflection
A Year of Impact: Guided by Grace and Gratitude
As we turn the page on another year, our hearts are full of gratitude for all that has been accomplished through our ministry. Looking back, we are reminded that every step was made possible not only by the generosity of our supporters, but by God’s faithful guidance and provision.
Church Planting and Growth in Virginia
One of the milestones this year was supporting the launch of a Korean Ministry service at a local church in Northern Virginia. What began as a small gathering with 8 people grew over 20 people, and we continue to pray for this congregation as it journeys toward becoming an independent church. We are deeply thankful for the opportunity to witness and support this growth, trusting that God will continue to lead and bless this ministry.
Supporting Missionary Mobilization and Next-Generation Education
This year, we supported GP USA missionaries serving as coordinators for Korean-speaking Simply Mobilizing ministries, focusing on mobilization and mission training. Our support also contributed to the development of next-generation mission education through SM Kids Kairos programs. We continue to pray for the missionary’s family and their efforts to connect local churches to unreached people around the world. Sarang Fund will continue to support them in the next year.
Global Compassion: Extending Hope
This year, our mission reached across borders:
- We provided financial and medical support to refugees in Turkiye, meeting urgent needs and offering hope in difficult times.
- Our support extended to mission partners in African countries and Guatemala, helping orphanages and communities experience hope and practical assistance.
- We supported a nonprofit dedicated to medical missions for an unreached country in East Asia, including sending medicine packages directly to those in need.
Feeding the Hungry and Serving Locally
Our commitment to feeding the hungry and supporting vulnerable populations remained strong. We partnered with organizations and local shelters, providing resources and meals where they were needed most. Each act of service was a reminder of the difference we can make together.
Empowering Lives at the Local Shelter
A special highlight was working alongside clients at a local shelter in Raleigh downtown. We volunteered to offer resume assistance and practical guidance, helping individuals take steps toward employment and stability. Sharing nourishing meals and words of encouragement, we witnessed lives touched by compassion and hope.
Christmas Outreach
During the Christmas season, we joined together to bring joy to those served by the local rescue missions, sharing gifts and encouragement. We also participated in IMB’s Lottie Moon Christmas Offering to support global missions, extending our reach even further.
Looking Forward with Faith
As we look ahead, we do so with hearts full of hope and trust in God’s continued guidance. We remain committed to serving with compassion, expanding our reach, and deepening our impact. Every prayer, every act of kindness, and every partnership has contributed to a year filled with love.
